My name is Linda, and I am a Haitian American from Wellington, FL, pursuing an information systems degree at the University of Florida. My interests outside of school are weightlifting, cooking, journaling, and listening to music.
At TSF, I have learned that rejection is a part of the process and that it is an opportunity to learn, grow, and come back even stronger.
As a 1st generation student, being in college has taught me that you need to actively seek advice, opportunities, mentors, and networking instead of waiting for these opportunities to magically happen. “Comfort is the biggest trap and coming out of your comfort zone is the biggest challenge”.
My ideal job when I graduate is either a project manager, business analyst or technology consultant.
