Camille Acha is a senior at the University of Florida. She is pursuing a major in Business Management and a minor in Innovation, and currently works on an outsourced sales team as a sales development representative (SDR) at The Selling Factory. Originally from Cameroon, Camille has lived in different African countries such as the Ivory Coast, Gabon, and South Africa. Through her experiences traveling around the continent, she grew a passion for African cultures, especially the African wax print fabrics. With entrepreneurial aspirations in the textile manufacturing industry, she started TheRoon – to share that passion with her peers through clothing by incorporating bold fabrics into her casual streetwear designs.
When she is not studying, designing for her brand, or interning at The Selling Factory, Camille enjoys playing basketball and tennis and listening to podcasts. She is also an active member of the African Student Union, a Florida Cicerone, and a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity. Camille aspires to work in the Fashion Retail industry upon graduation as the first step toward a career of meaningful contributions to the Fashion Industry.
