I am Josefina Patiño, and I was born in Atlanta, Georgia but lived majority of my life in Bogota, Colombia, where my whole family is from. Currently, a senior at the University of Georgia, I love horseback riding, traveling, and drawing.
I never expected to learn as much as I have in this role. It gives you a direct experience on how complex sales can be when it comes to strategy, approaching certain campaigns in a specific way, and to try and start to build a long lasting relationship with clients.
The leadership at TSF has been one of the best I have experienced throughout the jobs I have had. They are very open to you for questions, or any advice in general, about anything. They are always there for support, and make you feel confident throughout the job. Also, the flexible schedule is very helpful, and they are very understanding.
The experiences that have shaped me the most are those which I did not always wanted to go, like those transfer mixers, where I met one of my best friend, panels for my majors, where I learned about the company I will be working for, and volunteering for a soup kitchen, where helping is one of the best things ever.
I would like to have a huge ranch with many horses for children with special needs. Teach them to ride and care for horses. It is proven the positive impact that horses on everyone, specially, on children.
During high school, we would earn money and build houses in the poverty areas of Bogota, Colombia.
What is the best piece of advice (and from who) you have ever received?
My mom said that if worrying did anything to solve anything then to go ahead and do it. (obviously it does not) So, to do what you can, the best you can, and the rest leave it up to life.
